How Growing Dome® Greenhouse Shipping & Delivery Works
For more than 35 years, thousands of customers across the United States and around the world have successfully received their Growing Dome greenhouse kits. We’ve refined our delivery process to make it simple, predictable, and well-supported from start to finish.
Whether you choose shipping, local delivery, or customer pick-up, our team will guide you every step of the way.
3 Ways to Receive Your Growing Dome
1. Shipping (U.S. & International)
We ship Growing Dome kits in carefully packed crates designed to protect your greenhouse materials during transit.
Shipping Within the Contiguous United States
For deliveries within the contiguous United States, your Growing Dome Advisor will include shipping costs directly in your complete Growing Dome kit quote. These quotes are valid for 30 days.
Shipping costs vary based on dome size, distance, and freight method. Because each order is unique, we calculate shipping alongside your kit pricing to ensure accuracy.
Alaska, Hawaii & International Shipping
For Alaska, Hawaii, and international destinations, custom shipping estimates are required. These estimates are valid for two weeks due to freight market variability.
We regularly ship Growing Domes internationally and assist with documentation and coordination to help ensure a smooth delivery process.
Customers are responsible for all brokerage fees, customs duties, import taxes, and destination country charges. These costs are not included in your shipping estimate.
Freight & Delivery Details
Most Growing Dome kits are delivered via a 26′ tractor-trailer (semi-truck). Please ensure your delivery site can accommodate large freight vehicles.
15′–26′ Growing Domes
- We request a lift gate whenever possible.
- The driver will lower the crate to ground level.
- The driver will place the shipment where they feel safe and comfortable unloading.
It is the customer’s responsibility to move the materials to their final installation location.
33′ and 42′ Growing Domes
- A forklift with extensions or similar unloading equipment is required to safely offload the crates.
- Customers are responsible for arranging proper unloading equipment.
Growing Dome kits typically arrive in multiple crates depending on dome size and glazing type. Please plan for adequate space, site access, and assistance on delivery day.
