Aquaponics

Aquaponics connects fish, water, and plants in a closed loop, and the Growing Dome's pond and stable interior climate make it an unusually natural fit for aquaponic systems. This category brings together writing on dome-based aquaponics: setting up systems that integrate with the above ground pond, fish species that thrive in this environment, plant choices for aquaponic grow beds, scale considerations, and stories from owners running aquaponic operations inside their domes. Explore content covering everything from small additions to fully converted aquaponic dome setups.
